We had the arrogant Mr. Cliff Thermo Twin representative show up to our house yesterday to give us an estimate on our windows. We used Thermo Twin in the past at our old house and the windows seemed to look fine after moving 7 years later.
First time I met this Cliff man was at the old house, where his cocky attitude was in full bloom. I really didn't think he would still be around.

I recently chose thermo twin to replace the windows in my house. I did not have any of the problems the others have had. I was referred through a friend who also has thermo twin windows. I had 3 estimates and thermo twin actually came down in price to match window worlds price.

That was on us. When they came to install they brought the wrong size. Ditto what the other reviewer said - they are extremely overpriced. They will put on a great sales pitch and try to get you to commit on the day of the estimate by offering you a "today only deal" if you choose to replace any of your windows. Whatever you do, do not take that deal without having another quote for reference.

I recently decided to have the remaining windows downstairs replaced. I once again used Thermo Twin. Overall I am very pleased with the windows. I had one minor problem, when they were installing the windows one of my window sills got scratched. I called and complained. They came back the following week because of my schedule they were able to come before that but I was not available.
I can't hold that against them. They repainted my sill and I am happy with their service. I rate them a 4 out of 5 for the scratch but I would use them again in the future. I asked for a price concession due to this and they wouldn't give me one. Pretty stupid on their part considering all the windows in our house need to be redone. Needless to say we'll be going to one of their competitors for the rest of the windows. It's one thing if you charge high prices but offer great service- these guys do not. We absolutely love them. I can actually feel the difference they make. I noticed the outside is so much quieter than it ever was.
If I weren? We had a very pleasant experience with Thermo Twin. Our salesman, Ron was wonderful. If you want to buy windows it's a war between the window companies. I didn't know it was that competitive. Thermo Twin had the most class out of everyone we shopped.
We got fair price. I was expecting more.
